POSITION SUMMARY:

The Donor Associate develops and executes comprehensive stewardship andengagement strategies that strengthen relationships with Duquesne University'sdonors. Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations, this position managesdonor engagement initiatives, stewardship communications, scholarship reportingprocesses, presidential engagement experiences, donor loyalty programs, anddonor data projects that enhance the overall donor experience and supportlong-term philanthropic relationships

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages and executes strategic donor engagement experiences, includingpresidential events, major donor gatherings, recognition opportunities, andstewardship initiatives. Partner with Advancement colleagues to coordinateinvitation strategies, donor communications, event logistics, briefingmaterials, attendee tracking, post-event follow-up, and engagement outcomes.Ensure experiences reflect the University's highest standards of donorappreciation and relationship building.

Leadscoordination of the President's Athletics Stewardship Program, including donorand prospect guest management, communications, ticket coordination, experienceplanning, and collaboration with gift officers to maximize engagementopportunities. Ensure seamless VIP experiences that support cultivation,stewardship, and philanthropic goals
Oversees thestrategy, execution, and ongoing growth of the University's donor loyalty program,including donor segmentation, recognition tiers, stewardship experiences,communications, and engagement opportunities.
Collaborate withAnnual Giving, Major Giving, Advancement Communications, and AdvancementServices to create meaningful donor experiences that recognize lifetimecommitment, strengthen donor retention, and build a pipeline for increasedphilanthropic support. Evaluate program effectiveness through engagementmetrics, donor behavior, and industry best practices to continuously enhancethe donor experience.
Managesscholarship reporting, student gratitude initiatives, and connect donors withthe impact of their philanthropy.
Developsstrategies to increase student participation, enhance donor communications, andstrengthen connections between scholarship recipients and benefactors.
Supports donorrelations technology, data integrity, and process improvement initiativesthrough management of donor records, stewardship tracking, reporting systems,and fund documentation. 
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy,and donor experience through Advancement systems and best practices.
Provideoperational support for the Office of Donor Relations, ensuring professionalcommunication, effective workflow management, and excellent service to donorsand campus partners.
Performs otherduties as assigned by the DDR.
