Description

Citizens JMP Securities is seeking a Publishing Specialist (Supervisory Analyst) to support the production, review, supervision, and distribution of equity research. This individual will be responsible for ensuring research content is accurate, professionally presented, compliant with regulatory requirements, and published in a timely manner.

The Publishing Specialist serves as a key partner to Research Analysts, Compliance, and other stakeholders to support the efficient execution of the research publishing process.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Review, edit, and publish equity research reports, industry notes, thematic publications, earnings commentaries, and other client-facing materials
  • Perform supervisory review of research content to ensure compliance with FINRA regulations, internal policies, and required disclosures
  • Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of published materials, including financial data, disclosures, and presentation standards
  • Coordinate publication timelines and ensure timely dissemination of research products
  • Utilize BlueMatrix and other publishing tools to manage workflow, approval, and distribution processes
  • Partner with Research Analysts/Associates and Compliance on publishing, disclosure, or regulatory issues
  • Maintain established publishing standards, quality controls, and operational procedures
  • Assist with process improvements and support departmental initiatives designed to enhance efficiency and quality

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 10+ years of experience in Research Publishing, Equity Research, Financial Services Operations, or a related field
  • Experience supporting supervisory review and regulatory publishing requirements within a broker-dealer environment required
  • Strong understanding of research publishing workflows and quality control processes
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Hands-on experience with the BlueMatrix research publishing and distribution platform preferred
  • BA/BS degree required, preferably in English, Journalism, Communications, Finance, or a related field
  • FINRA Series 16 or Series 24 & Series 87 licenses required or ability to obtain within established timeframe

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40+
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
