Job description

Description

Christian Family Solutions is a faith-based, religious organization committed to our mission, healing and helping people in need through the ministry of Jesus Christ. As more and more people seek help with difficult issues, we want to be the counseling resource they turn to for hope, healing, and peace.

We are recruiting a part-time Wellness Specialist to provide services through our School Based Partnership Program at Faith Lutheran in Fond du Lac and St. Luke's in Oakfield. This role supports the growing mental health needs that are arising in the schools that we serve. This position does not provide clinical therapy, but instead focuses on case management duties and provides mental wellness in schools. We are actively seeking those who are members of a WELS or ELS congregation and have a strong desire to learn more about integrating Christian practices based on these principles.

Hours for this part-time position are generally 8am-4pm, working two days per week. One day per week will be designated to each school. As a part-time employee, you'll be eligible for our 401(k) plan and employer match policy.

God has blessed us with an incredible privilege of healing and helping people in need. Click here to view a video about us. You'll see what a privilege it is to call ourselves "Christian" and to reflect Christian love to everyone we serve.

What you will be doing

The Wellness Specialist will be responsible for providing mental health support to schools and students, facilitating psycho-educational groups, and assisting in case management duties.

Quality mental health delivered with integrity is the first commitment we make to our clients. An additional commitment we make is to offer the option of Christian faith principles integrated with all we do in our Christian partner schools. It is an approach we are committed to delivering, and we train our staff to provide it. You will work in a unique environment where both your professional skills and your faith can grow.

Why work for Christian Family Solutions?

At Christian Family Solutions, you have the opportunity to focus 100% on your work in the school, as we are equipped with a top-notch support staff who handle school contracts, billing, and other organizational details. Christian Family Solutions will also provide training in the process of applying wellness services within a biblical worldview, regular in-service or continuing education opportunities, as well as regular supervision and consultation.

If you are motivated to assist students in a comfortable, supportive, and Christ-centered atmosphere with a strong Christian Mission and Core Values, we want you to be a part of our team.
