Shift Supervisor

At MilkShake Factory, we're on a mission to craft moments of joy through our handspun milkshakes and premium chocolates. If you love serving people, talking to guests, and would like to master the art of chocolate and desserts, look no further you've found your place.

Position Overview

We are looking for a part-time Shift Supervisor to work alongside and lead team members to achieve shift goals while maintaining a fun and professional retail environment. Shift Supervisors are trained to have a strong understanding of the company, culture, and team with a focus on providing elevated hospitality for every customer. Shift Supervisors earn an average of $18/hour with a base pay of $13/hour and an average of $5/hour in credit card tips.

Essential Functions
  • Leadership of store opening or closing duties.
  • Engaging with guests and selling product to achieve sales goals.
  • Team member training and coaching.
  • Communication liaison with store management.
  • Serve as a MilkShake Factory brand advocate delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Lead shift in mastering product recipes crafting the highest quality desserts for guests.
  • Provide shift leadership in handling customer service needs.
  • Maintain organized, clean store from front of house to back of house.
  • Ensure all cash management policies are followed.
  • Ensure food safety and quality during shift.
  • Assist with seasonal sales promotions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • At least 1 year of food and beverage experience.
  • Available to work flexible hours.
  • Strong communication skills, sales skills, and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Ability to judge and appropriately react to business activity to ensure labor management.
  • Attention to detail and safety requirements.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Previous customer service and cash-handling experience.
  • Must perform physical activities to accomplish assigned duties, such as walking and standing for up to and including 5 hours at a time, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
