Job description

As a Steampunk Salesforce Solution Architect, you have experience owning the overall functional design and solution for smaller scale implementations or app development. Confident and comfortable partnering with the client to deliver scalable and efficient solutions as well as mentoring junior functional analysts. Supports the Technical Architect by ensuring the overall solution is built to satisfy the business needs. Works alongside the PM to discuss risk and mitigation strategies; able to have challenging conversations with client. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Provides technical consultation on various aspects of the product and solutions based on the customer’s business requirements. 
  • Creates and presents an organization wide roadmap which aligns customer’s technical business needs to that of the Salesforce Solutions 
  • Responsible for designing/architecting the solution and supporting development for large-scale customers 
  • Validates solution components and provide solution walkthrough with customer; Identify technical issues / risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve 
  • Drives innovation within the practice/team by creating/identifying re-usable components, tools, accelerators & as well work on increasing adoptions of these accelerators during delivery 
  • Ensures alignment of standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy 
  • Acts as technical liaison for our customers as well as internal functional teams 
  • Participates in modernization focused Human Centered Design (HCD) lead workshops with business stakeholders 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

    • No degree and 14+ years of experience
    • Associate's degree and 12+ years of experience
    • Masters degree and 8+ years of experience
  • 8+ years of industry/CRM experience with 7+ years as enterprise/platform architect 
  • Have proved capability in architecting solutions independently and design software on the force.com platform with hands-on participation in building the solution for large implementation  
  • Deep and extensive knowledge, experience of force.com technical platform including apex, triggers, batch Apex, Visualforce etc. Knowledge of sophisticated VisualForce components, Chatter API, including integration 
  • Experience with the Lightning Framework on force.com & JavaScript frameworks, enterprise design patterns. 
  • Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes; ability to work independently and within team setting 
  • Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening) 
  • Ability to articulate solutions and rationale for design decisions 
  • Salesforce Platform Developer, Administrator, Experience and/or Service Cloud certifications preferred

The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
