Job Summary:ย 

CSN Collisionย  is looking for a strong leader to manage one of our stores. The General Manager for a collision center is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the autobody repair process within the collision center. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in autobody repair, managerial skills, and customer service acumen. The manager ensures that repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

1. Team Management:ย ย 

  • Supervise and lead a team of autobody technicians, painters, estimators, and administrative staff.ย 
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff members to ensure they perform their duties effectively.ย 
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.ย 

2. Workflow Management:ย ย 

  • Coordinate and schedule repair jobs to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of repairs.ย 
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, based on workload and priorities.ย 
  • Monitor progress on repair jobs and address any delays or issues that may arise to keep projects on track.ย 

3. Quality Control:ย 

  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.ย 
  • Conduct regular inspections of completed repairs to verify quality and identify any deficiencies that need to be addressed.ย 
  • Work closely with technicians to resolve technical challenges and provide guidance on best practices.ย 

4. Customer Service:ย ย 

  • Interact with customers to understand their repair needs, provide accurate estimates, and address any concerns or questions they may have.ย 
  • Maintain open lines of communication with customers throughout the repair process, keeping them informed of progress and any changes to the timeline or scope of work.ย 
  • Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.ย 

5. Inventory and Supply Management:ย ย 

  • Manage inventory levels of parts, materials, and supplies necessary for autobody repairs.ย 
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials.ย 
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent disruptions to workflow.ย 

6. Safety and Compliance:ย ย 

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all staff members adhere to safety regulations and best practices.ย 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in autobody repair techniques and equipment.ย 
  • Ensure that the collision center operates in compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.ย 

7. Financial Management:ย ย 

  • Develop and manage budgets for the collision center, including operating expenses, labor costs, and capital expenditures.ย 
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.ย 
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and revenue.ย 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in autobody repair, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role within a collision center.ย 
  • Strong technical knowledge of autobody repair techniques, materials, and equipment.ย 
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.ย 
  • Superior customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and exceeding customer expectations.ย 
  • Proficiency in computerized estimating systems and other relevant software applications.ย 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.ย
