Pharmacist Program Manager
Location(s): Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL, Tampa, FL, Norfolk, VA, Overland Park, KS, Mason, OH
Hybrid: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Pharmacist Program Manager leads pharmacy programs to improve Stars performance and lower cost of care in value-based organizations. Please note: This role is not practicing clinical pharmacy.
How you will make an impact:
  • Manages both internal and external stakeholders, resolve pharmacy benefit issues, and support Sales and provider-facing pharmacists with clinical guidance, standardized workflows, and cross-functional alignment to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures the proper reaction to and resolution of issues concerning the pharmacy benefit program.
  • Acts as a support resource for the sales team regarding efforts to improve the performance of the pharmacy benefit for existing accounts.
  • Lead analytics-driven pharmacy programs to improve Medicare Stars medication measures, close quality gaps, and reduce avoidable cost of care.

Minimum Requirements
  • Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years of managed care pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in applicable state(s) required.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:
  • Knowledge of current health care and managed care pharmacy practices strongly preferred.
  • Professional designation preferred.
