Job description

Join a team that uses data and analytics to power digital marketing at scale and improve how we connect with customers. You'll help shape targeting strategies and measurement that drive acquisition, engagement, and growth across consumer banking products. We'll rely on your partnership with Marketing, Product, and Technology to turn ideas into measurable outcomes. If you enjoy solving complex problems, improving how teams work, and raising the bar on quality, this role is built for you.

Job summary

As a Lead Business Systems Analyst in Marketing Data and Analytics, you will help design and deliver data-driven audience and targeting solutions that improve campaign execution across digital channels. You'll translate business goals into clear requirements, define data and process standards, and partner with teams to implement changes that are measurable and repeatable. You'll help us strengthen how we manage audiences and data so we can move faster, reduce rework, and improve performance. You'll also identify responsible uses of artificial intelligence to improve speed, quality, and control in marketing execution.

Job responsibilities
  • Design data and audience management approaches that enable consistent, reusable targeting and measurement across campaigns.
  • Develop data quality monitoring and automated operational reporting to reduce manual work and improve reliability.
  • Analyze performance and targeting inputs from systems of record and approved analytical signals to improve relevance and efficiency.
  • Standardize audience outputs and documentation (requirements, definitions, and testing checklists) to accelerate delivery and reduce defects.
  • Manage end-to-end execution for data initiatives, including monitoring, issue triage, and proactive alerting to protect delivery and results.
  • Partner with Product and Technology to define functional designs and delivery plans for platform enhancements and cross-channel initiatives.
  • Identify responsible artificial intelligence opportunities and support "human-in-the-loop" operating models with clear controls, explainability expectations, and measurable outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analytics and/or customer segmentation, with the ability to connect analytical outputs to campaign execution outcomes.
  • Proficiency with SQL and common analytics and reporting tools (for example: Python, Excel, Tableau, Adobe).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate complex topics to non-technical partners.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, measurement, and test-and-learn optimization.
  • Strong project execution skills, including planning, dependencies, and risk/issue management across stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence partners and explain artificial intelligence-supported decisions and controls clearly.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in marketing operations and/or marketing technology, including exposure to artificial intelligence-enabled targeting or decisioning.
  • Experience with agile delivery and project management tools (for example: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with customer data platforms and marketing automation tools (for example: Salesforce, Segment, SAS, Adobe, Microsoft).
  • Experience working with agencies and/or consultancies, including translating vendor capabilities into governed requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives under tight timelines while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, including alignment on responsible artificial intelligence use, governance needs, and success measures.
