What We Do
The Manager, Business Analysis plays a key role in providing research and analysis support to inform strategy and decision making at a managerial level. This role will manage a high performing team of BA and/or BSAs within the division and provide people and project leadership in aligning business goals with applicable systems. The BA manager will work closely with the Director of Business Architecture & Analysis to implement the division and group's vision for developing a center of excellence for the team and implementing industry best practices for the discipline of Business and Systems Analysis. The manager will also lead key division programs, act as a liaison between business users and technology teams, and provide mentorship to other BAs in all aspects of agile project delivery to ensure project success.
What You'll Do
  • Manage a team of Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Analysts supporting various product teams and transformation programs
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional teams from business, technology and external partners to identify business needs, and ensure appropriate analysis support is provided to meet business and system goals for various product and process initiatives
  • Provides analysis expertise and acts as a lead Analyst to analyze and document business and functional requirements on key initiatives, and represents the division on major programs.
  • Leads, oversees and mentors team in utilizing best practices in business analysis all through product or software development lifecycle (Discovery, MVP development, Design, Development, Testing, Launch and Production Support)
  • Oversees the creation and maintenance of required supporting documentation following best practices within an agile framework (e.g. API, business rules, user stories, data validation etc.).
  • Is a strategic partner, acts as a liaison between the business, product, design, and engineering teams including offshore staff.
  • Sets and manages team goals and objectives for day-to-day operations and projects
  • Receives analysis support requests, assesses project needs and works with the group's senior leadership team to plan and assign analysis support
  • Participates in hiring process, writes and conducts performance reviews, manages disciplinary actions, and other HR activities for the team as required
  • Provides constructive feedback and mentors the team to support their knowledge development within Business Analysis and Business Systems Analysis
  • Provides guidance to team in identifying business problems, completing gap analysis, researching alternatives, identifying business and system requirements, driving solutions, testing to confirm, gaining consensus, and implementing solutions for required applications.
  • Participates in Product, engineering and business meetings as required and provides subject matter expertise from a Business and Systems analysis perspective
  • Partners with other business and technology teams within the division and/or organization to support product /program rollouts
  • Provides inputs to leadership and provides necessary reports and presentations to help inform roadmaps, budgets, resource planning and strategy
  • Leads the creation of a Center of Excellence for the Business and Systems Analysis Practice within the division.
  • Supports the development of BA group charter and engagement model

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Certifications: CBAP or IIBA Certifications, PBA, Agile certifications a plus
  • Demonstrated experience as a Lead BA or Business Analysis Manager with supervisory duties.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities with an ability to influence and inspire change
  • Must have a solid experience working on major digital transformation programs in complex environments as Senior BA /BSA
  • Must have experience working in an Agile development environment, collaborating with business, product and engineering teams to identify and translate business requirements into systems definitions and solutions
  • Must have knowledge of and experience in providing analysis support within all phases of Software or product development Lifecycle
  • Strong working knowledge of system integrations and supporting technologies
  • Must be a strong and confident communicator with exceptional abilities in presenting, influencing and collaborating with internal and external partners at management level for success
  • Strong experience in Business Analysis and Business Systems Analysis methodologies, best practices and industry standards
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative tools to document and collaborate with product and engineering teams
  • Standard Microsoft office skillset
  • Excellent organization and Program/ project management skills
  • Rich experience and knowledge in creating and maintaining analysis documentation, including but not limited to: user stories, use cases, functional requirements, mapping processes, API analysis, writing test cases, capturing business rules, data analysis etc.
  • Knowledge of Title insurance & settlement services operations is a plus

Pay Range: $129,300.00 - $172,300.00 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
