Business Development Manager โ€“ Building Automation & Energy Management

Solving energy management, facility infrastructure and system integration problems.

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to help grow our presence in building automation and energy management. This businessโ€‘facing role involves identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting the sales process with proposals, CRM management, and coordination with our engineering teams.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants exposure to smart buildings, missionโ€‘critical systems, and technical sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across data centers, commercial buildings, and missionโ€‘critical facilities.
  • Build relationships with facility managers, engineers, contractors, and technology partners.
  • Support proposals, estimates, RFP/RFI responses, and sales documentation.
  • Maintain CRM records, track opportunities, and coordinate followโ€‘ups.
  • Communicate the value of Araynaโ€™s BAS, HVAC controls, energy management, and power monitoring solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams during preโ€‘sales activities.
  • Stay upโ€‘toโ€‘date on industry trends, smart building technologies, and energy management solutions.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 1โ€“4 years in sales, business development, or customerโ€‘facing roles (technology or building systems preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical solutions in businessโ€‘friendly terms.
