Job description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hospitality-driven Catering Server to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the seamless execution of events ranging from corporate functions to social celebrations.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates effectively, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences through attentive and professional service.

We provide catering services for concert venues, weddings and social events, as well as corporate clients throughout San Diego.


Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and arrange tables, chairs, linens, and catering equipment according to event specifications
  • Ensure all food and beverage service areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready at all times
  • Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests throughout each event
  • Execute multiple types of service, including buffet, server-attended buffet, tray-passed hors d'oeuvres, food stations, action stations, and plated service
  • Prepare, maintain, and replenish buffet and beverage stations as needed
  • Monitor guest tables, anticipate needs, and clear dishes efficiently
  • Assist with event breakdown, including cleaning, packing, and restoring the venue
  • Maintain a polished appearance, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
  • Collaborate with team members and follow direction from Event Managers and leadership
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful event execution

Qualifications
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous experience in food service, catering, or banquet environments preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
