We are currently recruiting for an Aviation Structure Sheet Metal Mechanic job in San Antonio, TX.

As an Aviation Structure Sheet Metal Mechanic, you’ll have the opportunity to perform maintenance services and modifications for many major airlines and cargo aircraft assisting a team of highly experienced aviation technicians to return aircraft to service safely.

Aircraft you'll be working on E190, A300, Boeing 787, Boeing 757 – 3 lines, Boeing 747, MD11 – 2 lines, DC10

Position Overview:

Immediate positions are available for experienced Aviation Structure Sheet Metal Mechanic in San Antonio, TX. We are in need of heavy structure mechanics to work on C-checks & D-checks. Aircrafts we are working on: E190, A300, Boeing 787, Boeing 757 – 3 lines, Boeing 747, MD11 – 2 lines, DC10

-Job Type: Contractor

-Hire Date: Immediate

-Compensation: $25-$29/ hour (based on experience)

-Per diem: we offer the highest non-taxable per diem in the market (including on overtime)

-Hours: overtime is available

-Tools: toolbox and tools required

Position Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures
  • Utilizing tools as required to shape and form angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications.
  • Perform any and all required pickup, rework & fabrication
  • Perform C-checks & D-checks Follow all policies and procedures
  • Keep a clean & orderly work environment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned in a safe manner

Qualifications:

-Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

-Experience:

  • Aircraft Sheetmetal (2 years required)
  • Experience with Cargo/commercial aircrafts (2 years required)
