About The Role

We are seeking a Head of Finance to lead and scale our financial operations. This role will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, optimizing treasury management, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making at the highest levels. As a key member of the team, you will oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and operations, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficiency as we scale. You will build and lead the finance team while working cross‑functionally to support the company’s expansion.

Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and drive financial strategy and long‑term planning, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that shape strategic decisions, including business expansion, pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
• Assist founders with high‑impact strategic projects and business model optimization.

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Own financial statements, budgeting, and financial planning, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Establish, monitor, and refine core financial KPIs to provide real‑time visibility into business performance.
• Lead financial reporting, audits, and tax planning, ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and global regulatory standards.
• Oversee consolidation reporting, transfer pricing, and overall financial governance.

Treasury & Cash Management

• Optimize treasury functions, managing both fiat and crypto liquidity, capital deployment, and operational cash flow.
• Accurately forecast burn rate, revenue, and cash flow while ensuring efficient fund allocation.
• Establish and maintain critical payment and crypto infrastructure partnerships that underpin the success of our products.

Risk, Compliance & Investor Relations

• Ensure full compliance with global financial regulations, tax laws, and crypto industry standards.
• Lead investor relations efforts, supporting capital‑raising initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with investors.
• Conduct strategic financial analysis, scenario modeling, and risk assessment to inform business decisions.

Team Building & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Build, manage, and scale the finance team to support rapid company growth.
• Partner cross‑functionally with product, engineering, operations, and business teams to align financial strategy with company objectives.

About You

• 8+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a strong preference for candidates with experience at high‑growth technology startups. Exposure to investment banking or M&A is a plus but not required.
• Strong foundation in fintech, and/or blockchain industries.
• Experience building and leading finance teams, with a track record of optimizing financial operations in a scaling business.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, strategic planning, P&L management, and unit economics.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, consolidation reporting, and transfer pricing.
• Ability to manage both traditional finance operations and crypto‑based financial structures.
• Hands‑on experience with RevOps, revenue forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Highly technical mindset – while not required to be an engineer, you should be comfortable learning and understanding complex technical products, particularly in blockchain and Web3.
• Preference for candidates who excel at their craft, regardless of direct crypto experience. While blockchain expertise is a plus, a strong ability to learn and adapt is key.
