Job description

Senior Director of Foundation opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Director of Foundation position.  The Director of Foundation is responsible for generating financial resources to support initiatives at Bitterroot Health, including cultivation of major gifts and planned gifts, and writing grants.  Also manages events, capital campaigns and an employee donor program. Must be knowledgeable of donor database software systems.  The Director of Foundation serves at the pleasure of the Bitterroot Health Foundation Board of Directors and receives principal direction and performance management from the Bitterroot Health Foundation Board of Directors with management oversight from the Bitterroot Health CFO. 

This position is salaried/exempt as defined under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Education:  college degree required, bachelors or greater preferred.
  • Experience:  Minimum of three years fundraising experience in the activities cited above in position summary.

Schedule:  Full-time, 40 hours/week
