Job description

About us
Today’s financial system is built to favor those with money. Grid’s mission is to level that playing field by building financial products that help users better manage their financial future. The Grid app lets users access cash, build credit, spend money, optimize their taxes, and lots, lots more.

The Grid app lets users access cash, build credit, spend money, optimize their taxes, and more. We’re a fast-growing team focused on building real products that matter—and we believe every team member plays a critical role in that mission.

The role
We’re looking for an early-career Product Manager to help us build and scale core parts of the Grid product. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and leadership to ship product experiences that directly impact users’ financial lives. This is a high ownership role with significant exposure across the business. This is not a “coordination” role—we’re looking for someone who wants to own problems end-to-end and drive outcomes.

The team
We’re focused on serving our users and building a robust business above all else. Grid team members operate with high autonomy and ownership, and we value curiosity, speed, and a strong bias toward action.

The tech stack
Our tech stack is based on Swift, Firestore, UIKit, GCP, Go, protobufs, BigQuery and MySQL. We have built our platform from the ground up to optimize for clean data sources, and we have made numerous investments into data warehousing, streaming analytics infrastructure and offline data cleanliness.
What you'll do
  • Own and drive specific product areas end-to-end, from problem definition to execution
  • Work closely with engineering to define and ship high-quality product experiences
  • Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Talk to users and develop a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors
  • Contribute to product strategy and prioritization
  • Move quickly and iterate based on real-world feedback
What we're looking for
  • Strong problem solver: You can break down complex problems and think clearly about tradeoffs
  • High ownership mindset: You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks
  • User-first thinking: You care deeply about building things that actually help people
  • Execution-focused: You move quickly and get things done
  • Curiosity and drive: You’re constantly asking “why” and looking for better solutions
  • Strong communication: You can clearly articulate ideas and work cross-functionally
Background

We’re looking for raw talent and strong thinkers. Typical backgrounds include:

  • 4+ years of experience in:
    • startups
    • product, operations, or growth roles
    • investment banking
    • management consulting
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with high expectations
  • Exposure to product, data, or technical environments is a plus

What this role is not:

  • Not a roadmap management role
  • Not a stakeholder coordination role
  • Not a low-intensity environment

If you’re looking for clear structure, predefined scope, or predictable hours, this is likely not the right fit.

Equity
Competitive equity package included

Benefits
Medical
Dental
Vision
401K
Life Insurance
Why this role
  • You’ll work on real problems that affect users’ financial lives
  • You’ll have ownership from day one
  • You’ll be pushed to operate at a high level very quickly
  • You’ll have a steep growth curve if you perform

We’re looking for people who want to build something meaningful and are willing to do the work required to get there.

If that excites you, we’d love to hear from you.
