Jiffy Lube Multicare Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for managing employees, providing a high level of customer service & achieving the sales performance & goal requirements. The Service Manager is responsible for the employees training & development as well as for managing all aspects of their work performance. The Service Manager ensures each customer receives exceptional customer service, while providing complete, error free professional service for his/her vehicle & to maintain a pleasant, safe environment for the customers & the employees.

Job Responsibilities:                 

  • Manage day to day store personnel in a professional manner

  • Resolve customer issues

  • Understand & maintain inventory control 

  • Ensure the store & its employees comply with OSHA & EPA standards

  • Ensure employees perform required procedures & follow all policies as outlined

  • Ensure that all employees maintain a 100% completion status for their computer based training requirements

  • Ensure equipment & facilities are maintained

  • Responsible for personnel issues, scheduling, hiring & disciplinary actions

  • Ensure the store is opened & closed properly

  • Responsible for all cash receipts

  • Coach, counsel & discipline employees as needed

  • Responsible for store compliance with all policies & procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook & JTSS documentation

  • Ensure all employees are properly trained per JTSS guidelines & to provide leadership to continue developing each individual's skill levels

  • Uphold store image standards

  • Other duties as requested or assigned

Job Requirements/Competencies: Two (2) years Lube Technician or similar auto experience or one (1) year of Automotive Management experience.

  • Customer service skills to manage the customer’s experience & difficult customer situations

  • Ethics and integrity to treat others with respect

  • Basic computer skills to enter customer & vehicle information correctly as well as to perform other managerial duties

  • Organizational skills to complete tasks in a timely manner

  • Weekend work & some holiday work required

  • Cash handling skills

  • Supervisory skills
