Summary
 
The Manufacturing Associate / Environmental Monitoring (EM) Core Technician supports GMP manufacturing and aseptic processing of clinical-grade products. This role is responsible for executing environmental monitoring activities, maintaining clean room readiness, and supporting production operations in a regulated cGMP environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Perform Environmental Monitoring (EM) activities in support of GMP manufacturing of viral therapies
  • Support production and aseptic processing, including cell culture and product purification, when required
  • Maintain, stock, and set up cleanroom environments to ensure compliance and readiness
  • Coordinate EM equipment requirements with the QC Environmental Monitoring team
  • Prepare, complete, review, and revise GMP documentation, including Batch Records and EM forms
  • Prepare buffers and components, including operation of steam autoclaves
  • Operate manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment for routine clinical production
  • Operate EM equipment such as Solair systems, ApexZ50, and active particle counters
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with aseptic techniques, cell culture, and serological methods
  • Experience working in a cGMP clinical or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to pass Class 10,000 (ISO 7) gowning qualification
  • Experience with GMP documentation, record keeping, and compliance practices
  • Experience supporting environmental monitoring programs is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with clean room operations and EM instrumentation desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and work ethic
