At CESO, a Landscape Architect/Project Manager leads the site design from start to finish and manages the production of construction documents in accordance with laws and regulations. You will lead a small team and engage in business development for the landscape architecture service line. Primary responsibilities would include:
Position Responsibilities
  • Meet with external and internal project stakeholders (i.e., clients and project managers) to understand the requirements of a project, including goals, timelines, and budgets
  • Prepare proposals for client and project needs
  • Lead and manage architectural projects, including the preparation of design concepts, design development, estimates, and construction documentation, including specifications, materials, equipment, and estimated costs.
  • Perform contract administration or construction administration, including RFIs, shop drawings, pay application review, site observations, and / or final site SF verification surveys
  • Serve as a mentor and guide to designers and co-op’s
  • Review the work of others and provide feedback and / or redlines
  • Work with the quality control team to provide reviews and comments
  • Responsible for the team’s quality of work and productivity
  • Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited school and 4+ years as a registered architect or 8 years of experience in Landscape Architecture with a current registration
  • Professional Landscape Architectural License (PLA) required
  • Travel required on an as-needed basis
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, photo editing software, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and working with and leading a team

determined by several factors, including location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. Our pay 
structures are benchmarked against industry and market data to stay competitive. Each offer is based on a full review 
of a candidate’s background, qualifications, and fit for the role.
Below are the typical new hire pay ranges for this position based on location:
• Charlotte, NC: $91,771 - $116,243
