Role Overview:

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in bringing the SPC brand to life across marketing, product, partnerships, and sales initiatives. You will be responsible for creating high-impact visual assets that drive engagement, support business objectives, and deliver a consistent brand experience across all channels.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to the development of campaigns, digital experiences, partner promotions, presentations, and marketing materials that resonate with student audiences. This role requires a strong combination of creative thinking, design expertise, and strategic problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled designer with a passion for branding, digital marketing, and user experience, who thrives on collaboration and takes pride in producing exceptional creative work from concept through execution.


Key Responsibilities

Brand & Creative Development

  • Create engaging visual assets that support marketing campaigns, partner promotions, and company initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency across all creative deliverables while maintaining SPC's brand standards.
  • Contribute ideas that strengthen and evolve the visual identity of SPC.
  • Translate business goals into effective visual solutions that resonate with student audiences.


Design Execution

  • Design digital advertising creative for web, mobile, social media, email, and paid marketing channels.
  • Create presentations, one-pagers, sales collateral, promotional materials, and branded assets.
  • Produce creative assets across digital, print, experiential, and out-of-home channels.
  • Prepare production-ready files and coordinate design assets for internal and external stakeholders.


Product & UX/UI Design

  • Collaborate with product and development teams to support user-focused design initiatives.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and visual designs for digital experiences.
  • Apply UX/UI best practices to improve engagement and usability.
  • Iterate designs based on feedback, testing, and business requirements.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Partnerships, Product, and external vendors to deliver high-quality creative.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, digital experiences, and Gen Z / Gen Alpha consumer behaviour.


What You Bring

  • Strong visual design skills with a portfolio demonstrating digital, brand, and marketing work.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in AI tools for graphic design work
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and presentation design.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or animation is considered an asset.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand, digital, marketing, and UX/UI work.
  • Experience working in consumer, retail, e-commerce, loyalty or media environments is considered an asset.
