JOB DESCRIPTION

Stinson is looking for a Presentation Designer (internal title is Presentation Consultant) to work as a visual knowledge translation expert. You will work closely with our project managers and creative directors to create clear and engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics. With a balance of autonomy and guided training, our designers become experts in visual communication, design consulting, and of course, PowerPoint design.

SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Designing with purpose - understanding the content of presentations and utilizing design best practices in your work;
  • Working closely with our clients to create clear, engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics;
  • Meeting clients and/or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of each project;
  • Attending project kick-off and feedback calls with clients and following up as required;
  • Ensuring projects meet technical requirements and objectives within scope while upholding the brands' standards;
  • Collaborating with team members from other departments to meet project objectives;
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
  • Presenting ideas and concepts to clients;
  • Providing quality assurance - design and content QAing your own work to provide high-quality results;
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in design and AI.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of presentation design experience;
  • 3+ years experience in client-facing roles with excellent verbal and written comprehension. Specifically, you have experience working closely with executives, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback;
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, agency environment;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills;
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
  • Strong sense of visual aesthetics and typography;
  • Ability to quickly digest information;
  • A degree in graphic design or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to travel to the US and Europe
