Manager Amazon Software Engineer Jobs in High Point, NC

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a growing technology team. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core, React, and AWS Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading development teams, driving technical decisions, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to start as a contractor and transition to a full-time employee after approximately six months based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on .NET development experience
• Strong experience developing applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Experience building modern front-end applications with React.js
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions within AWS Cloud
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices preferred
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies preferred
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and AWS services such as:
  • Lambda
  • ECS/EKS
  • API Gateway
  • S3
  • RDS
  • CloudWatch

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on technical leader while actively contributing to coding, architecture, and solution design.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core, React, and AWS.
• Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, development practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during critical initiatives.
• Support cloud modernization efforts and AWS adoption strategies.

Location Requirement: Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Winston-Salem, NC, five days per week. Candidates seeking C2C with H1b transfers, 1099 subcontracting, or relocation WILL NOT be considered.  

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winston-Salem, NC.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
