Job description

Sr. Software Engineer- Java (Greenwich, CT) (Hybrid: Remote work permitted 2 days) (multiple positions)
Design and build solutions for regulatory reporting and back-office systems used by financial brokerage firm.
Design scalable architecture for distributed high-performance applications and systems.
Create new systems and provide support once they are released into production.
Design and develop high-volume, low latency applications.
Plan and execute deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration.
Identify and resolve issues impacting development.
Working with various internal stakeholders and developers on implementing solutions in production and development environments.
Hybrid: 2 days remote work permitted. Must work from Greenwich, CT office 3 days/week.
Requires:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Software or Electrical), or related field.
Three (3) years of experience in a professional software engineering position developing with Java.
Also requires:
Requires 3 years of experience with each of the following:
1) J2EE, Spring Framework, and JBoss Application Server;
2) Oracle, SQL, and Hibernate;
3) Javascript, HTML, and AJAX;
4) JUnit for Unit testing;
5) Java messaging services (JMS);
6)Linux operating system; and
7) Maven.
Requires 1 year of experience with each of the following:
1) Python;
2) Git;
3) Gradle; and
4) Amazon web services.
