Allegiant Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time remote position based in San Diego, California. The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.

You will benefit from administrative support for scheduling, billing, and insurance processing, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver one-on-one therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Collaborate with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals, monitor their progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide flexible teletherapy options for clients who prefer virtual sessions due to accessibility challenges or personal preference.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation to comply with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring each client’s record is thorough and up-to-date.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and remain informed about the latest industry practices.

The clientele at Allegiant Mental and Wellness Center is diverse, with individuals coming from various backgrounds facing different challenges. You will work with adults, adolescents, and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics. Your empathetic approach will foster a trusting therapeutic alliance, allowing clients to feel safe in sharing their experiences and challenges.

• A current and valid professional license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and facilitate open discussions.
• Exhibit a high level of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients' experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseload and associated administrative duties.

• Experience in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT, or mindfulness practices.
• A demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, including culturally sensitive practices.
• Prior experience in a community health clinic or private practice setting is highly desirable.
