Job description

Maximize your potential. Minimize your footprint.

Nortek Data Center Cooling builds the systems that keep modern data centers running - from liquid cooling to largescale air solutions. Our work supports some of the world's most demanding AI and hyperscale environments, and we solve those challenges with engineering depth and practical execution.

We keep things simple here. We communicate early, stay close to the details, and follow through. When issues come up, we address them directly, not with layers of process. Customers count on us because we do what we say and we keep projects moving.

Our culture is handson and collaborative. People take ownership, move quickly, and help each other. If you like working with teammates who are straightforward and accountable, you'll feel at home.

With the backing of Madison Air, we have the scale, stability, and manufacturing footprint to support complex, highgrowth programs.

Job Summary

The Manager - EndofLine (EOL) Quality Systems at Nortek Data Center Cooling (DCC) plays a critical role in ensuring that all EndofLine testing across Nortek's manufacturing network is executed with precision, repeatability, and full alignment to engineering intent, customer requirements, and quality standards. This position serves as the technical and quality interface between engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams-driving consistency in how products are validated before shipment.

The Manager, Quality Systems will travel regularly to Nortek DCC plants to review EOL test patterns, evaluate instrumentation and PLC logic, and ensure that every test performed meets Nortek's expectations for accuracy, reliability, and compliance. This role also supports new product builds, customerspecific test requirements, and continuous improvement of measurement systems and test processes.

Key Responsibilities

EOL Test Coordination & Standardization

  • Review, validate, and improve EOL test patterns, sequences, and measurement logic across all Nortek DCC facilities.
  • Ensure test workflows are consistent, repeatable, and aligned with engineering specifications and customer commitments.
  • Communicate test findings, risks, and improvement opportunities to engineering, production, and quality leadership.

Operational & Process Discipline

  • Ensure all EOL testing follows approved Nortek DCC procedures, safety requirements, and quality documentation.
  • Support creation, revision, and control of EOL test SOPs, work instructions, and measurement documentation.
  • Maintain accurate logs of test setups, instrumentation, deviations, and results for full traceability.

Technical & Controls Support

  • Evaluate the condition, calibration, and readiness of sensors, instrumentation, PLCs, and automated test systems.
  • Troubleshoot test station issues and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Ensure measurement systems are capable, reliable, and compliant with Nortek DCC quality expectations.

Data, Reporting & Customer Deliverables

  • Ensure accurate capture of test conditions, data, and observations during EOL testing.
  • Support engineering with compiling test reports, data summaries, and customerfacing documentation.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records aligned with Nortek DCC quality and audit requirements.

Plant Support & New Product Builds

  • Travel to Nortek DCC plants to audit EOL test stations, operator workflows, and measurement integrity.
  • Validate test logic, instrumentation, and process controls during new product builds and engineering pilots.
  • Translate customerspecific test requirements into robust, repeatable EOL test processes.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a strong safety culture within all EOL testing environments.
  • Support hazard assessments, PPE compliance, and safe operation of test equipment.
  • Participate in safety reviews, incident investigations, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience in controls engineering, automated testing, quality engineering, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong understanding of sensors, instrumentation, PLC logic, and automated test systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting crossfunctional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data management tools.
  • Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams.
  • Ability to travel 40-60% to Nortek DCC plants.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, controls, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in a structured quality environment (ISO, AS, or similar).
  • Familiarity with EOL testing, measurement system analysis, or calibration processes.
  • Prior experience in HVAC, data center cooling, or product testing environments.

Success Profile at Nortek DCC

A successful Manager - EOL Quality Systems is:

  • Processdriven, ensuring testing is executed consistently and documented thoroughly.
  • A strong communicator, bridging engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams.
  • Disciplined and detailoriented, maintaining accuracy in test logic, instrumentation, and data.
  • Calm and organized, even when priorities shift or customer timelines tighten.
  • Proactive, anticipating test issues, measurement gaps, and process risks before they impact quality.

Why Join Nortek DCC

  • Play an important role on a growing team
  • Contribute to a company helping power the next generation of AIready data centers
  • Work in an environment with meaningful growth opportunities
