Among other investments, EAH has recently completed a significant facility expansion at its primary distribution center and is in the process of implementing enterprise-level ERP / WMS / OMS systems.
Reporting to the CTO, we are seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce Cloud Developer to join our in-house development team in Wadsworth, Ohio. This is a fully onsite position supporting and enhancing two active Adobe Commerce production stores that serve separate businesses.
This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys balancing new feature development with production support in a fast-paced eCommerce environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT, marketing, and third-party vendors to deliver reliable, scalable solutions while maintaining a high level of system performance and customer experience.
Responsibilities
  • Develop new features and enhancements for two Adobe Commerce production websites.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and support both Adobe Commerce sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly while minimizing business impact.
  • Design and implement custom Adobe Commerce modules and integrations.
  • Customize frontend functionality using modern Adobe Commerce best practices.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems such as ERP, payment gateways, shipping providers, tax engines, and marketing platforms.
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
  • Create technical documentation for custom development and system architecture.
  • Work with internal business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate deployments with our project office and support release management processes.
  • Stay current with Adobe Commerce updates, security patches, and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional Adobe Commerce development experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • PHP 8+
    • Adobe Commerce / Magento 2 architecture
    • MySQL
    • JavaScript
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • XML
  • Experience developing custom modules, plugins, observers, and API integrations.
  • Experience working with Git source control.
  • Experience with REST APIs.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Adobe Commerce Developer certification.
  • Experience with:
    • Composer
    • Varnish

    • CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience integrating ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways such as Braintree, or PayPal.
