Job Title: System Center Service Manager (SCSM) Administrator

Location: Columbia, SC 29201
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Interview: In-Person or Virtual

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced System Center Service Manager (SCSM) Administrator to support and maintain an enterprise System Center environment. This role focuses on Service Manager administration, request development, workflow automation using Orchestrator, and support of the Cireson web portal. The position is staff augmentation and supports ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM)
  • Design, create, and maintain Service Manager request offerings and workflows
  • Develop and maintain System Center Orchestrator workflows and automation
  • Support and customize the Cireson Web Portal, including JavaScript updates
  • Patch and maintain SCSM, Orchestrator, Cireson, and Windows Server environments
  • Act as SME/POC for Service Manager processes and enhancements
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and vendors
  • Lead efforts to migrate and modernize the existing Service Manager environment
  • Provide after-hours support as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft System Center in a development or admin role
  • 3+ years of Azure administration experience
  • 5+ years of Windows Server administration
  • 3+ years working within an ITIL or similar IT methodology framework
  • Strong experience with:
    • SCSM (Incidents, Changes, Services, Request Offerings)
    • System Center Orchestrator
    • Cireson Web Portal
    • PowerShell (v5.1+)
    • Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
    • Microsoft SQL Server (basic administration/support)

Preferred Skills

  • JavaScript development (Cireson customization)
  • Power BI, HTML, XML
  • Healthcare or public-sector IT experience
  • Experience with HIPAA-compliant environments

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience
  • Microsoft Server or related certifications preferred
