Job description

Airswift is seeking a Plant Operator to work with a major O&G client in Mentone, TX on a rotational schedule 7/7 (days/nights)
Position:
Plant Operator
Location: Janus Plant site near Mentone, Texas
Schedule: 7/7 rotational (days/nights)
Housing: Provided during the shift
Position Overview:
The Plant Operator is responsible for the operations and maintenance of a newly built 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin. The role involves overseeing various plant processes and equipment, including natural gas and liquids separation, condensate stabilization, amine treating, TEG glycol and mole sieve dehydration, turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression, turbine power generation, propane refrigeration, natural gas cryogenic processing, CO2 compression, treating, & dehydration, and natural gas and NGL measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the plant in accordance with operating procedures and review/input on new and existing procedures
  • Troubleshoot plant equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance
  • Optimize plant operations to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and manage work orders
  • Adhere to Management of Change (MOC) processes with required documentation
  • Manage and track parts, inventory, consumables, and costs
  • Maintain accurate records for daily readings and verify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Participate in periodic Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) for the plant
  • Serve as a safety leader in the plant's proactive safety culture
Qualifications:
  • Strong commitment to personnel safety and regulatory compliance
  • At least 5 years of experience in cryogenic plant operations preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in all areas of operations and maintenance of a cryogenic plant
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs
  • Solid understanding of instrumentation and control systems
  • Knowledge of turbine compression or power generation is a plus
  • High School diploma required
