Quality Systems Auditor

Position Overview

This position performs internal auditing duties in support of the organization's Quality Management System and provides feedback to ensure continuous improvement. As part of the Quality Management team in our Mapleton, IL foundry, the Quality Systems Auditor will focus on a gap analysis of the Quality Management System and assist in resolving issues by selecting the best solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits
  • Generate reports regarding the quality status of the Quality Management System, including any significant trends indicated by the data
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve non-conformances
  • Collaborate with all members of the Quality Management team on internal quality audits

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required, plus 2 years of relevant experience
  • Internal Auditing Certification required

Top Skills

  • Experience auditing ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or a comparable Quality Management System
