Lead CT Technologist - CT/X-ray/MRI
Elmhurst, NY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead CT Technologist to join our esteemed diagnostic imaging team in Elmhurst, NY. If you're an expert in CT imaging with a passion for mentoring others and enhancing patient care, this is your chance to step into a leadership role. Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of CT technologists, ensuring high-quality imaging standards are maintained
  • Perform CT scans, and assist with X-ray and MRI procedures, while overseeing the technical and procedural aspects of the department
  • Provide leadership in imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety
  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting when needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results
  • Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures, patient records, and equipment maintenance
  • Uphold and promote a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and quality care
  • Assist with training and mentoring new staff and students, providing guidance and fostering professional development within the team
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor's preferred)
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
  • ARRT (MR) certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain
  • BLS certification
  • Proven experience in CT imaging with strong knowledge of protocols, safety, and positioning
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
