What You'll Do

As our Regulatory Compliance Manager, you'll serve as the company's regulatory expert while leading compliance initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regulatory compliance programs for existing products and new product launches.
  • Review and approve nutrition facts panels, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, and food labels.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, customer, and international regulatory requirements where applicable.
  • Oversee packaging artwork approvals and regulated marketing claims, including Organic, Non-GMO, and Gluten-Free.
  • Monitor changing food regulations and communicate impacts across the organization.
  • Partner with R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and Marketing throughout product commercialization.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation, certifications, specifications, and compliance records.
  • Manage product setup and maintenance within internal systems and customer databases.
  • Verify ingredient compliance through supplier documentation and Approved Supplier Programs.
  • Conduct regulatory reviews and support internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Determine HACCP categorization and regulatory requirements for new and existing products.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop regulatory team members.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and serve as the organization's regulatory subject matter expert.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing food labeling, nutrition facts panels, ingredient statements, and regulatory documentation.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • FDA & USDA regulations
    • HACCP
    • SQF
    • GMPs
    • SOPs
  • Experience reviewing food labels, packaging artwork, and regulatory claims.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and nutrition analysis/compliance software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting new product commercialization.
  • HACCP Certification
  • PCQI Certification
  • SQF Practitioner Certification
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
  • Experience with allergen management and ingredient compliance.
  • Experience working with customer-specific regulatory requirements.
