Job description

Apartment Porter / Groundskeeper

Location: Slidell, LA

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Apartment Porter/Groundskeeper to join our team in the Slidell, Louisiana area. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, attractive, and welcoming apartment community.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment community
  • Pick up trash throughout the property and common areas
  • Assist with dumpster and breezeway cleanliness
  • Perform general groundskeeping duties
  • Help keep sidewalks, parking areas, and other common areas clean
  • Assist with light make-ready duties, including:
    • Hanging blinds
    • Minor paint touch-ups
    • Light cleaning
    • Other minor apartment preparation tasks
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
  • Assist the maintenance team as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous apartment porter, groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience preferred
  • Familiarity with apartment communities is a plus
  • Experience with trash cleanup and maintaining property grounds
  • Ability to perform light make-ready work
  • Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently
  • Ability to walk the property and perform physical duties throughout the shift
