Location: Jackson, MS

Role and Responsibilities: The DevOps Analyst combines people, processes, and technologies to continuously deliver valuable solutions and services that meet end user needs and business objectives. Responsibilities for this role include implementing strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implement strategies for collaboration
  • Implement strategies for development
  • Implement strategies for infrastructure
  • Implement strategies for deployment
  • Implement strategies for testing
  • Assist Agile development teams using either SCRUM or Kanban methodologies
  • Respond to and resolve critical issues
  • Assist as mentor for less experienced staff members
  • Work on special projects, as assigned by the director
  • Lead a project or direct the work of members of a team
  • May be called upon to design or architect a new application
  • Perform Business Analysis on projects to help maintain project efficiency
  • Develop and maintain SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) document

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or a combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of some or all of the following depending on assigned responsibilities: Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Asysco AMT, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, C#, SQL, Microsoft Azure, Automated Testing
