Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a retail and mall location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants with exceptional customer service, and communicate observations clearly. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the commercial property, reporting suspicious activity, property damage, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
