As a male companion, your job is to act as the caregiver for your client and help them with tasks for daily living. In this role, you may help your patient move around, assist them with errands, help with feeding and bathing, and perform other services as needed. Male companions frequently provide social interaction, medication reminders, and communicate with both seniors and families as needed. In effect, male companions provide help for seniors who need someone else around, but not to the extent of a full-time medical caregiver. This job title refers exclusively to caring for seniors and other people who need assistance in their daily lives and should not be confused with escort or security services.
