Position Summary:
The Warehouse employee will be responsible for maintaining the needs of the warehouse and to ensure a safe, clean and productive work environment for self and other team members. Inventory tracking.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Organize and clean work area
  • Build load to specifications
  • Drive Forklift or other Powered Industrial Truck
  • Building pallet of products
  • Wrap and stage and load pallets
  • Maintain accurate loading paperwork and departmental efficiency levels
  • Consolidate pallets
  • Complete associated paperwork
  • Report at scheduled starting time
  • Follow all company rules and regulations
  • Follow direction of Supervisors
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Education And/or Experience
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years in warehouse experience
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred.

Skills And Knowledge Requirements:
  • Receiving, off-loading, sorting, storing and retrieving product which will require lifting cartons and placing on/removing from conveyor.
  • Use of box-cutter to open cartons, as well as tape gun, gum labels and label making equipment to size, secure, and affix tickets to merchandise
  • Ensuring accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Entering receiving information into computers.
  • Building pallets of cartons.
  • Operation of forklift, pallet jack, and/or other heavy equipment; Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Maintaining clean and safe work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Pushing and pulling: You will manipulate products by hand from a primary location to a cart, pallet, or plate.
  • Move materials within the Distribution Center as needed.
  • You will make safety for yourself and your co-workers a top priority at all times.
  • You have basic counting and math skills.
  • You can read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications.
  • You have the ability to measure using English and Metric scales.
  • Ability to learn our basic computer and scanning systems.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office Software is preferred
  • You are able to obtain a valid, company-issued Powered Industrial Vehicles license where required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and walk 95% of scheduled day
  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
  • The incumbent must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
