Description
We're looking for an experienced Studio Producer to oversee and manage original and engaging content for Apple Fitness+. The Producer is responsible for creating and maintaining the schedule for all Fitness+ content and events. This person will work with the Studio Production Team and Content Producers to ensure that all video assets are scheduled and captured throughout the day. Additionally, the Producer will work closely with the Content Team to assign and schedule daily responsibilities for Fitness+ members including the Fitness+ Trainers' rehearsal schedules.
This person will also be responsible for being the main point of contact for special guests in Studio Workouts and Meditations, and scheduling ancillary events for the entire Fitness+ Studio including the Fitness+ trainers. The Producer will help coordinate and support partnership initiatives with brands, organizations, and collaborators both within the broader Apple ecosystem and beyond it. They will produce assets for partners, mainly video content that involves tight timelines and several different stakeholders.
This role also partners with Creative and Content teams to help shape fresh, forward-thinking approaches to production, from multi-platform capture strategies to new content formats that keep Fitness+ at the leading edge of live fitness experiences. The Producer is expected to jump in and assist with unexpected projects as they arise and will work closely with the Studio Producer, Production Coordinator, and Scheduling Coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly consistently. Quick decision-making and time management are key components of this role. A consistent and reliable leader who remains calm under the pressure of a constantly evolving schedule involving different talent and crew personalities is critical.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of production experience
Strong background in multi-camera and live or live-to-tape production
Understanding of both live production and post production, and can seamlessly bounce back and forth between the two worlds
Dynamic team player with the ability to keep multiple projects on track simultaneously and be able to anticipate and react to changes quickly
Ability to adapt to rapid changes and maintain accuracy in a high-energy environment
Must be comfortable in a control room, in an office environment, and on a live set
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and tailor communication to different audiences
Must be proactive, a decision-maker, and have great attention to detail
Creative mindset with the ability to contribute fresh ideas to production planning and content development, not just execution
Comfortable coordinating with internal and external Partnerships teams to support cross-functional productions, both within and outside the Apple ecosystem
Ability to be onsite; this is an in-person position.
