Job Description

What We Are Looking For 

Check Point is looking for a high-impact Major Account Manager ready to win new strategic logos and unlock growth across a focused portfolio of approximately 20 existing customers and prospects. In this role, you will shape bold, multi-year account strategies, lead complex deals with senior decision-makers, and bring together a virtual account team to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers in a channel-friendly environment. This is an opportunity to own a critical territory, build trusted executive relationships, and help some of the world’s leading organizations stay secure as they accelerate their digital and AI transformation. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Drive new, expansion and renewal opportunities across all accounts​ 

  • Acquire new strategic logos while farming and expanding existing accounts​ 

  • Build executive relationships and secure senior-level access​ 

  • Develop and execute major account plans with multi-year view​ 

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration​ 

  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations​ 

  • Prioritize effectively across a large book of business​ 

  • Use Check Point tools to manage accounts, pipelines and forecast​ 

  • Coordinate a virtual account team (specialists, SE, etc) 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in enterprise technology, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, networking, or infrastructure
  • Proven success selling into State, Local Government, and/or Education accounts
  • Strong understanding of State of Florida procurement, budgeting cycles, and funding mechanisms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed (estimated 50%)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Existing relationships within Florida state agencies and Higher Education Institutions
  •  Experience working with or through public sector channels and distributors
  •  Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements in SLED
  •  Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
