Job description

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Maintenance Worker at the Qualifying Houses in Minden, NV 

Minden, NV is a small town located in the western part of Nevada, in the Carson Valley, about 15 miles south of Carson City and roughly 45 miles south of Reno. It serves as the county seat of Douglas County. The area is known for its picturesque landscapes, characterized by the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the west and the Carson Range to the east. Minden itself is a charming, historic town with a population of just under 4,000 people.

 Pay: $19.00/hourly

 Perks & Benefits: Regarding insurance coverage: Full-time employees are eligible for medical insurance on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment, with dental and vision benefits available after 90-day and 403b match of up to 6% after one (1) year of employment, Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues and more!ROP-benefits-perks-2025-ATCS.pdf

 What you will do: As the Maintenance Worker performs work orders such as general building maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, sheetrock, adjusting locks and hardware, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, re-lighting, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, grounds maintenance, etc. Maintains the vehicle fleet. Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma ~ Prior building maintenance experience preferred ~ Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years ~ Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday ~ 8am - 4:30pm
