Full Time | Days | 8am- 4:30pm

Pay: Starting at $18.50/hour

**Working Primarily at Mosser Nursing Home and 1-2 days per week in Quakertown at The Village**

Pay: Starting at $18.75/hour (Based on experience)

What will I do as a Maintenance Worker?

  • Assures that maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Conducts and assures that fire protection and prevention programs are maintained by department personnel in accordance with fire safety policies and procedures.
  • Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor they may be. (NOTE: Such occurrences must be reported on the shift in which they occur.)
  • Coordinate maintenance services with nursing and daycare services when performing assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas and children's classrooms.
  • Attend departmental and staff meetings as directed or called.
  • Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
  • Assure that all assigned job tasks are performed in a safe manner, in accordance to established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies at all times.
  • Assure that established infection control and universal precautions practices are maintained when performing job tasks.
  • Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to your supervisor.
  • Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
  • Keep work/assignment areas free of hazardous objects.
  • Others that may be necessary/appropriate to assure that our facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and attractive manner.
  • Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
  • Assure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
  • Keep supervisor informed of supply needs.
  • Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.

What is required as a Maintenance Worker?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience; General maintenance experience in long-term care facilities preferred.
