Job description

SUMMARY:
Performs duties and tasks to meet Town Pump and brand operational standards to ensure daily cleaning, upkeep, and preventive maintenance, small repair for property maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms. Some locations may require driving the shuttle van. Model the Hotel Group Mission Statement "Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service."
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines. Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
  • Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
  • Always follow Town Pump's grooming and appearance guidelines and wear a uniform and nametag while on shift.
  • Under the direction of the supervisor, install small maintenance items as needed for repair.
  • Complete tasks and assignments on daily and preventative Maintenance Checklist.
  • Ensure exterior building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, and debris, as well as removing weather-related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
  • Complete Maintenance Request Forms within 24 hours.
  • Report all known issues with services, equipment, and property; ensure work orders are in place.
  • Update maintenance records on equipment, tools, and mechanical systems on the property.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock are always secure.
  • Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
  • May be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed such as cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping.
  • Comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information.
