ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The position is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Training Program. The trainer will provide assistance and support for maintenance team member’s progression within the DuPont maintenance training program.
The Maintenance Trainer will facilitate the DuPont Training Program. The program consists of computer training modules, hands-on lab, and field training. The trainer will support the progress of each team member and provide appropriate feedback to the Maintenance Training Supervisor.
  
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Degree from technical/trade school preferred. Multi-skilled maintenance background preferred. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and can support people toward achieving personal and plant results. Experience with Microsoft Suite is preferred. Strong writing and computer skills are required. Speak fluently in English is required.
 
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Technical trade certifications or degree is a plus.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Providing assistance and support of DuPont Training Program and Motion Industries. Includes implementation through execution.
  • Track and document that team members are receiving the required time in the training program. Give feedback to the Maintenance Training Supervisor if not meeting requirements.
  • Provide timely assistance to team members on progression through training.
  • Spend time in plant verifying team member’s hands-on training and comprehension.
  • Develop and maintain testing lab equipment and classroom.
  • Continual development of training curriculum specific to plant needs.
  • Training includes Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical Wiring, PLCs and VFDs
  • Classroom Style Instruction as well as one-on-one instruction.
