Responsibilities:ย 

  • Followsย all SAFETY guidelines and proceduresย establishedย atย facility.ย 

  • Wearย appropriate PPEย and promote a safe working environment.ย 

  • Self-motivationย 

  • Good communicationย skillsย 

  • Ability to receive assignments from Maintenance lead and Plant managementย 

  • Ability to work overtime as neededย 

  • Completes planned work from weekly downtime and all scheduled PM maintenance.ย 

  • Assures all work performed meets the quality and safety requirements of Mohawk Industries.ย 

  • Reports any issues with equipment to Maintenance Lead and Plant Leadership.ย 

  • Completes Root Cause Analysis on all equipment failures toย eliminateย repeat failures.ย 

  • Responsible for all Maintenance and Equipment repairsย ย 

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.ย 

  • Maintain equipment condition by communicating necessary repairs.ย 

  • Ensuresย maintenance solutions are permanent fixes and meet all requirements for safe operation under company policies.ย 

  • Must work with all maintenance personnel and outside contractors to keep equipment operational and to complete projects.ย 

  • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems to your current level of training.ย 

  • Performs any other duties as assigned.ย 

Qualifications:ย 

High school diploma or equivalent GED. 2 to 3 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.ย 

  • Proficient using all facility equipment and machinery to allow for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and resolve other basic operating problems.ย 

  • Knowledge of Mohawk's vision, mission organizational and functional operating structure, products, administrativeย proceduresย and policies.ย 

  • Ability to achieve results through team efforts.ย 

  • Ability to obtain PIT certification.ย 

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.ย
