Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in aligning the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals with functional activities in the Maintenance department. Under limited supervision, this role is responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and systems, and ensuring the overall functionality and safety of the facility.


Essential Job Functions:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and equipment.

• Conduct scheduled inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks.

• Design, build, or modify equipment, including generating quotes, drawings, and documentation.

• Provide accurate data entry related to labor hours, inventory usage, and repair procedures in the department's information systems.

• Assist with machine set-up and the installation of new equipment, including documentation of setup and repair procedures.

• Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain and organize tools, supplies, parts inventory, and maintenance records.

• Support the purchasing process by providing technical specifications for parts and materials.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment by adhering to all company safety policies and regulatory standards.

• Demonstrate knowledge of NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (subject to audit-based certification prior to authorization for electrical tasks).

• Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and ISO 9000/14001 procedures.

• Lift up to 45 lbs and perform repetitive motions including bending, twisting, and grasping; ability to stand for extended periods.

• Foster a positive and cooperative working environment through active team participation.

• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.

• Education: Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

• Training: Must be available to train on 1st shift during onboarding (duration: first few months).

• Certifications (Preferred): Electrical safety certification, OSHA training, ISO compliance exposure.
