About the Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead a team dedicated to keeping our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. This role combines hands-on maintenance expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation.
The Maintenance Supervisor at The Resort at Encinitas is eligible for a 100% apartment allowance if living on-site.
What You'll Do

Property Maintenance
  • Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property.
  • Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Operations
  • Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software.
  • Maintain budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team.
  • Provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is required.
  • Three or more years' hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.
100% apartment allowance if living on-site at The Resort at Encinitas
The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
