What is maintenance personnel?

Maintenance personnel are workers responsible for the upkeep, repair, and proper functioning of buildings, machinery, and equipment. Their duties may include inspecting systems, performing preventive maintenance, addressing breakdowns, and ensuring safety standards are met. They can work in various environments such as schools, hospitals, factories, or office buildings. Maintenance personnel may specialize in certain areas like electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems, or serve as generalists handling a wide range of tasks.

How does maintenance personnel typically collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations?

Maintenance Personnel often work closely with departments such as operations, safety, and production to proactively address equipment needs and minimize downtime. They regularly coordinate with supervisors to schedule repairs at optimal times and consult with specialized technicians or engineers for complex issues. Good communication and teamwork are essential, as maintenance staff may need to respond to urgent requests or participate in cross-functional safety meetings. This collaboration helps ensure that facility operations remain safe, efficient, and compliant with company standards.

Our Values
The backbone of our Brand is, and always has been, a commitment to a set of core values that define who we are and how we run our business and restaurants.

Serve- We put our customers and people first
Inclusion- We open our doors to everyone
Integrity- We do the right thing
Community-We are good neighbors
Family- We get better together
Our values are the filter through which all business decisions are made because actions are bigger than words. At McDonald's, our purpose is to feed and foster communities.
When we say, "billions served," we're not just talking about burgers. We're talking about serving our communities, customers, crew, farmers, franchisees, and suppliers. Because we know there's a difference between being in a community and being part of one.
City lines, county lines, even state lines. These things don't create communities. People do. We're constantly inspired by the way people come together in ways big and small to support their communities. But they can't afford to go it alone - they need support now more than ever.
In response, we're prioritizing our role and commitments in the tens of thousands of communities we operate in. We're also speaking up about our impact on the communities we have been serving for more than 65 years, and how we plan to feed and foster the future of those communities over the next 65 years.
How can McDonald's make the biggest difference? As we look to the future, we believe we can have an even greater impact by focusing on four areas that matter to our communities. If you would like to be part of our team, that makes a difference- please apply now. We look forward to hearing from you.
