MAINTENANCE ASSISTANTLangdon Place of Dover

Langdon Place of Dover is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff by assisting with the daily operation and upkeep of the facility.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and capable of performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assisting with general building maintenance and repairs

  • Performing preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems

  • Assisting with plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and minor repairs

  • Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner

  • Maintaining grounds and exterior areas as needed

  • Assisting with life safety inspections and regulatory compliance activities

  • Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as required

  • Participating in emergency preparedness and facility safety initiatives

Qualifications:
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred

  • Knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
