Location: Save More Food Market – Minocqua, Wisconsin

Save More Food Market is seeking a dependable and hardworking Deli-Bakery Utility Clerk for our Minocqua location. This position supports both the Deli and Bakery departments by maintaining clean, organized work areas and assisting with food preparation, stocking, packaging, and customer service.

This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping both departments operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Wash dishes, pans, utensils, trays, racks, and food-preparation equipment
  • Clean and sanitize worktables, counters, sinks, display cases, floors, coolers, and storage areas
  • Follow established food-safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
  • Assist with basic deli and bakery food preparation as assigned
  • Package, label, price, and stock deli and bakery products
  • Refill supplies, ingredients, packaging materials, and service areas
  • Rotate products and ingredients using proper date and freshness procedures
  • Monitor displays and keep products organized and properly stocked
  • Remove trash, cardboard, grease, and other waste from the departments
  • Assist customers and provide friendly, helpful service when needed
  • Help with opening, closing, and other departmental duties as assigned
  • Work cooperatively with Deli and Bakery team members to complete daily tasks
Qualifications
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
  • Previous grocery, restaurant, deli, bakery, or food-service experience is helpful but not required
  • Willingness to learn food-safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds
