Job Title: Maintenance Helper
Location: Miami-Dade, FL — Multi-Site Role (based near Hialeah/Miami Lakes, covering Hialeah Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Gardens, North Miami, Pinewood, Miami Beach, South Beach, Cutler Bay, and Davie)
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Join a fast-growing, family-owned laundromat chain with 10 locations across Miami-Dade and Broward County, and real growth plans ahead. You'll support our Lead Maintenance Technician keeping equipment running smoothly across our stores.
Role Overview 
You will support the Lead Maintenance Technician with hands-on maintenance and repairs across multiple nearby South Florida locations. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a stable, expanding company while replacing the current helper.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preventive maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs on commercial laundry equipment.
  • Support AC/HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility upkeep.
  • Help respond to equipment issues and emergency calls.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain tools and parts inventory.
  • Follow instructions from the Lead Technician and maintain strong communication.
  • Assist with troubleshooting coin and card-based payment systems on laundry machines.
  • Travel between local South Florida sites as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 2+ years of maintenance, handyman, or mechanical helper experience. Experience with commercial laundry equipment (e.g., Speed Queen, Huebsch) is a plus but not required — candidates with transferable experience from appliance repair, HVAC, or general maintenance are welcome.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction while working as part of a small team.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Must bring your own basic hand tools; company provides specialty tools, van + gas card.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and customer-service mindset.
