Position: Maintenance Engineer
Hours or FTE: Day shift; 40 hours/week,12 months Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Job Description: This position will report to the Facility & Grounds Director. Shift time can vary based on staffing. The Maintenance Engineer shall be responsible for those tasks delegated by the Facility & Grounds Director, Athletic Director, District Grounds Coordinator, Superintendent, and School Board, which are directly related to the general maintenance and security of the buildings, grounds, and equipment of the school district. The Maintenance Engineer will ensure a well-maintained, safe and secure educational environment. This position will also assist with setting up before, during and cleaning up after District events.
Qualifications/Degree: High School Diploma is required; one year custodial/maintenance experience preferred; being detail oriented and having the ability to problem solve would be preferred.
Job Duties/Requirements: A special engineers' boiler license is required at time of hire. Positive customer service, good communication skills and problem solving skills.
Beginning Salary Range: $17.83 - $24.85; As per Maintenance Engineer Contract
