This position is designed for a fully remote telehealth setting that allows you to engage with patients from the comfort of your home. Our digital tools and platforms are integrated for optimal communication, ensuring you can conduct assessments, offer therapy sessions, and maintain relationships with clients efficiently across virtual channels. Working hours are primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate patients’ needs, allowing for a work-life balance that meets both personal and professional demands.

• Conduct in-depth culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique life experiences and challenges, and craft personalized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), integrating cultural considerations to create impactful, individualized treatment approaches.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing the emotional, psychological, and social difficulties faced by patients.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention support to navigate mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and community resources to strengthen their support networks and understanding.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance continuity of care.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary case conferences and team meetings, sharing insights on patient care and undergoing regular cultural competency training.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in the mental health field to continuously refine therapeutic strategies and contribute to the organization’s knowledge base.

This role is critical in recognizing and addressing the differences in cultural norms and mental health perceptions that significantly affect client engagement and treatment outcomes. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders, with a proven background in culturally competent counseling practices.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy in culturally responsive settings is essential.
• Strong crisis intervention and conflict resolution abilities, along with excellent interpersonal communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• A clear commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and therapy best practices.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote integrated care.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with diverse populations.
• Established history of utilizing evidence-based interventions and participating in ongoing professional development and cultural competency training.
